As a newbie working with Vinyasa, it comes with a Page Hero which I guess is for all Blog Posts. I'm having trouble making this happen in such a way that I can swap out the background image for each post. - Thanks - Judith

Hi there,

the Vinyasa site uses an Element named: Blog Posts Headers and that uses the post Featured Images. So you should just have to add a featured image to your posts for that image to update.

Are you seeing something different?

Super, David. Thank you. Now I'd just like to close-up the white-space after the Page Hero, and the start of each blogpost on the individual blogpost pages, and on the Blog page which lists posts in reverse chron. order. Any ideas? - Judith.

OK go to Customizer > Layout > Container and adjust the Top Padding value, its set to 523px - which is causing the big gap :)

That worked very well. I notice the Blog page on the demo site for Vinyasa seems to have a rt-hand sidebar with two indeces - Recent Posts, and Categories. They do not show up on my Blog page. Is this related to the Element Blog Post Width? How do I access the "active element" selection on my Blog page? Perhaps it has something to do with Show Posts? In deep water here .....Judith.

Hello, Leo - Yes.

Hi Judith,

It seems that you don’t have the Widgets in your Right Side Bar: https://share.getcloudapp.com/qGu7OO0d

Can you add a Latest Posts Block and a Category Block in Appearance > Widgets > Right Sidebar as such?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Wnuy77zb

Moreover, if you would like to display this sidebar in single posts as well, you may set it in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Sidebards: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uRXXoJ

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

Hello, Fernando: Success - I now have Recent Posts and Categories showing on my Blog page. New Question: with Vinyasa theme is it possible to put content somewhere (not visible on My Menu), but where I can store content (articles, pds) that I want to link to in my social media posts (via Flodesk emails)? Thanks - Judith.

You can create pages to store the content, they will not be shown in the blog.
