Hi,
I am using VideoPress plugin to embed some YouTube Videos.
My question is; Is VideoPress a GeneratePress native plugin? ( I am guessing yes)If by chance NOT – what sort of video plugin would GeneratePress Recommend?
Lastly – is there a lightbox plugin in GeneratePress that can open a lightbox on a link click? (Wanting to use it for video transcripts – but not wanting to take up the whole page with transcript. If this is NOT an efficient way to do present a transcript – is there a better way?)
I don’t want to build a site with a lean theme – then bog it down with bloated plugins. Any advice is appreciated!

We don’t have a recommendation for this. Does the core Video block work for you?
https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/video-block/If not then you would have to test a few plugins to determine which one works for you the best.
GP doesn’t have a lightbox option built-in – this would be a feature in the plugin territory for sure 🙂
