Video URLs in the Page Header section

Is there any reason why YouTube URLs don't display as videos (you just see the actual URL as text) when pasted in the "Page Header" content sections of posts?
The same URLs do display as videos when posted into the main content areas of posts and pages - but they only work in the Page Header section if you include the full YouTube iframe embed.

The WordPress editor uses special filters to covert the videos.
The Page Header is HTML only, so you'll need to add the iframe code instead of just the URL.
