Video thumbnails in Page

With all the new updates with GPP, GB, Elements, etc is there a way to display video thumbnails with pagination on a page? This is what I'm trying to achieve (a video archive page) https://www.screencast.com/t/GFifMps0Deim
I've searched previous forum posts on this and it was suggested to use this plugin

Just wondering if I could do it without a plugin. If not, I know I'll have to dig into CPTs, template files, the loop, etc.

GPP, GB and Elements are unrelated to things like having video thumbnails with pagination on a page unfortunately.
The plugin would probably be your best bet :)
