Hello,
Recently we started using generate blocks to customize single post and homepage. Everything was working fine for last 3 years before using blocks. But yesterday we noticed, google was showing very different date of the article then we deep check and found that Hentry iteam has two Hatom and from there google was picking up the date so we decided to disable generatepress schema. Now schema markup seems fine. But now, google is showing different Title on search results. All details I have shared in the private message.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
i assume Google has taken that text as its a fixed element at the top of the viewport, which is what it will ‘see’ when it crawls and renders the site. And without the schema telling this is the entry title, it may think you considers that more important then the H1 ( not sure ).
Looking at your HTML, you Post Meta / H1 Title / Share icons is really complicated.
You have a lot of unnecessary Grid Blocks and Container Blocks in that section which buries the H1 – 8 nodes deep….I would suggest rebuilding that so the HTML isn’t buried as deep. The Grid Blocks are not necessary.
Alternativly re-enable the schema and then investigate the issue with the date

I have cleared our some grid block and re-enable the generatepress schema. Now again under hatom there are multiple hentry. And google is randomly picking of the date and not the correct one.
Please check. Thank you

StaffCustomer SupportOdd, can you try removing the date meta from the Related Posts you have hooked in under the footer. As thats the only place i see reference to that other date.

Yes after removing the date from related block, its not coming up. Thank you. So should I disable the generatepress schema or not as we are using yoast premium as well that plugin has a schema too. Please suggest.
And thanks for the help 🙂

StaffCustomer SupportIf you have no issues with the GP Schema then best to leave as is. Yoast is outputting JSON-LD for the rich snippet so there should be no conflicts.
