[Support request] Vertical menu – show active menu children (submenus)

Hi,
We are using vertical menu on our site. It seems that if i click on the dropdown submenu then if i am on the submenu page then this active submenu item in the vertical menu is hidden. Therefore every time user browses on the site he/she has to open dropdown to see the submenus.

Is there a way to make vertical menu work in a way that active menu children items are visible?
