So far I have tried via entering the code via: Wordpress / jetpack tools. Plugin / Joast tools. GP hooks wp_head. Any solutions? Thanks for your help, Ben September 30, 2014 at 6:02 pm #35533 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Hi Ben, Wouldn’t be a theme issue – Google Webmasters just want to see a meta tag in your code somewhere. It may take half an hour or so for them to pick up your website – did you stick with one method? Have you been verified yet? Let me know π October 1, 2014 at 5:05 pm #35967 Ben Hourahine Hi Tom, No luck, I’ve left it 48 hours or so.. If I was to put it into the code should I use CSS editor, child CSS or GP hooks? Which is the best method? Other than that I will probably try and upload the code via FTP. Thanks Tom π October 1, 2014 at 7:25 pm #36005 Ben Hourahine UPDATE: I’ve actually just used the ‘insert headers and footers’ plugin and its worked. Just for other peoples reference, it was pretty much instantaneous. Thanks again Tom π Ben October 1, 2014 at 7:28 pm #36010 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Excellent, glad you found a fix π Author Posts Viewing 5 posts - 1 through 5 (of 5 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
