Using WP-Show Posts as Blog Page Archive

I would like to use the WP-show posts for styling my blog page. I have created a hook already and inserted the short code but all of that displays above the default blog page.
Is there a way to get it to display instead of the default blog page?

Hi there,
First off remove the page you have set as your Blog page in Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
Then create a Static Page, add your content including your WP Show Posts shortcode, name the page your Blog. You can then include your new static blog page in your Navigation menu.
