    Hello.
I am a blind computer user who now am trying my hands at creating a combined static and blog web site using Gp Pro and the free Generate blocks.
Since i got stuck when trying to use elements from the theme to make the site, i have now decided to try my hands on the sites from the library.
So here are some newbie questions about using the site libraries:

If i install a site from the library and want to make new pages, do i still have to configure every aspect of the page from scratch or does the site template sorta apply, if you get my drigft?
Can i somehow change it so that a blog page becomes a static page instead if i want a static page with a bit of info about the site and so on?
If i’m not quite happy with the site template i’ve used, could i easily go back and start all over with another site?

Sorry for all these questions, it’s just that i want to know what i’m doing before diving into something.

    Thanks,
    /Krister

    Hi Krister,

Pages are mostly static, so yes, you will have to re-create everything when you start a new page.
But you can copy all the content from an existing page, and paste it to your page, so you can have a quick start.
Here’s a video show you how to do that: https://youtu.be/CsT1UOzZUgI

Blog page is an index page, it’s generated automatically. It doesn’t affect you to create a static page. They are not conflicted.

Let me know if there’s anything unclear 🙂

Hi and thanks for the answers.
What i mean to do is create a home page with info about me and the site and so on with no blog posts on it and then in a menu i want to create a link that points to the index page of the blog. Would that work using a site from the site library?
I ask that because i’m a bit unsure what the site library is.

    Thanks once again.

Yes – the site library templates are 100% customizable – meaning that you can alter anything you want with them.

    Hi and thanks once again.
So if i want to add colors to a page or site, can i write the names of colors such as green, blue or something or do i have to use hex- or rgb-values and if so, is there something out there that can give me some kind of reference to what values corespond to what color? I ask since i can
t see colors at all, because as i said before i am blind and am using a screen reader to try to create web sites.
    Thanks
    /Krister

You would need to use Hex color.

Maybe something like this would work?

Hi and thank you for that resource, it did the trick. Is there somewhere you can read up on padding and what that does? That was the other thing i got stuck on.
