Hello, I just recently purchased Generatepress and was just curious as I have already been using the free version for 3~ months now and I do not want to break my site if at all possible.

I want to use one of the site library themes, but from what I understand that if it’s not a brand new site and I attempt to import it without the content I might be missing some stuff from the theme, is that correct?

I would like to use the Mellow theme if that helps, thanks!

    Hi there,

    welcome to GP Premium 🙂

    Mellow uses the Header Element:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/

Which is part of the content import.

I would suggest creating a staging site, import the mellow site, delete the posts and media you don’t require and check to make sure all is ok.

Hey again, so I just added Mellow and everything worked great so far. I was just curious, I know some images aren’t correctly formated, but how do I get the images in the header when you click on the blog posts? That should be all I need from you all, thanks again!

Hmmm… the Header Element uses the posts Featured Image – and it looks like you don’t have any selected for your posts.

You would need to edit the posts and add your image to the Featured Image meta box for them to appear and remove the Block image you have added in place of them.

Unfortunately there is no quick fix for that.
