    Hi
I just bought the Premium $30 so you know.

Prior to learning about GP, Ive been using Orbisius Child Theme Creator plugin. I tried many of the Child Theme plugins, but like this one the best as it has a feature NONE of the others have:
A 2 window side by side screen.
1 for editing the child theme css, and 1 for LOOKING at the parent theme. So much easier working side by side, editing in the child side, while looking at the original parent side.

My question is I’d like to use one of GP’s child themes, but not the parent? Is that possible?

Thanks for your great plugs; Id double the price of I were you.

    Al

    Hi Al,

The parent needs to be installed on the site in order for the child theme to even work.

As long as the parent is installed, it doesn’t need to be active – it just needs to be there.

    Glad you’re enjoying it! 🙂
