Hi Tom,

is there a way I can use the slideout menu for desktop and mobile with only displaying the burger icon and not any of the other menu items?

All the best
Marcel

Hi Marcel,

It should be possible, just don't add any menu items to your primary menu.

That way it should show the slideout toggle, and you can create your other menu and attach it to the slideout menu theme location :)

Hey Tom,

I managed it via css visibility but good to know that there are multiple ways to set this up.
Thanks for the fast reply anyways.

All the best

No problem :)

Hi Marcel,
I tried to add items only to the slideout menu but it lead to all menubar disappearing...

You said you managed everything via CSS, could you please clarify what you did?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

the simplest fix, if you only want to display the slideout navigation;

create a new menu in Appearance > Menus.
Name it e.g 'Blank', do not add any menu items and assign that to the primary navigation.
In the customiser set the Slideout navigation to display on both desktop and mobile.

Thank you very much David!

Simple solutions with a great effect!

You're very welcome. Glad to hear that worked!
