Since my earliest days with WordPress I have always used Beaver Builder and still do. I have also resisted using Gutenberg as my default WordPress Post Editor, but I wanted to start to learn it, Especially now that there are full-layout block tools like Stackable hitting the market.

With Beaver Builder, I can create a GP Element and place the [fl_builder_insert_layout slug=""] shortcode into the content box of my GP Element and it renders out the Beaver Builder module inside of the GP element. Very nice.

My questions is, can we place Gutenberg blocks into GP Elements the same way? I am about to rebuild my church site on GeneratePress and just wanted to get a lay of the land before getting going.

Love any insight you might have on using Blocks with Elements, if it is even possible.

    Thanks!

can we place Gutenberg blocks into GP Elements the same way?

We are actually working on this. Should be released in GP premium 2.0 🙂

GPP 1.11 is available as an Alpha release for testing and can be downloaded from your Account > Downloads:

    https://generatepress.com/gp-premium-1-11-0-block-elements/

NOTE the warning we don’t recommend for use on live sites.
