Using Generate Sections on an existing webpage

I am all set with how to use Generate Add Ons....but how to do it on a page I've already written? I had to copy and paste the part I want "sectioned" onto a Word document, then do the Sections stuff (colors, etc.), then re-type the text into the page, but when I finished, that was all that was on my page! The rest of my text did not appear. (I haven't lost it...just had to select No for using Generate Sections)...but how do I use this on a page that's already written?
You'll have to copy and paste your content from the default editor into the editors inside Sections.
Using Sections means the content in the default editor will not be used - the page will only use your Sections.
Let me know if that makes sense or not :)
