Using Elementor with GPP

Hi,

I replaced Avada with GeneratePress two years ago.
Now our website is very fast and good. I am very happy with GPP.

Our designers want to use Elementor to implement more design on our website.
With GPP I only use two files (functions.php and style.css) to build the entire layout (by hand without an editor).

I don't know Elementor.

1. Is Elementor comparable to Avada?
2. How fast does the website get when we use Elementor?
3. How well does Elementor work with GPP?

Hi there,

1. Yes - its comparable.
2. Like all page builders it adds a LOT more code to your site. This will affect the speed of your site.
3. Yes - we have a lot of Elementor users.

You may want to check it out as a lightweight alternative
