    Hi Meredith,

Sounds like you’re doing everything right.

The add-ons add options to your database, they don’t add any options to either theme.

The child theme is good for adding custom code (CSS, PHP).

    Hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, wow, new one on me–I thought I was adjusting my theme with the add-ons all this time.

Thank you for your very helpful and very quick response, I really appreciate it.

Oh, just to be sure, by saying I am doing everything right, are you saying I am using the correct version of the child theme, too?

And where is the child theme download located on your site??

I know I ask very remedial questions, but…one of these days…showcase thread here I come ๐Ÿ™‚

    Take care, Tom…Meredith

The child theme version never changes – it’s completely blank so there’s nothing to update ever.

It can be found here: http://generatepress.com/api/themes/generatepress_child.zip
