Using blocks from coach theme without installing the theme

I have been having some trouble implementing the coach theme in the way I want it on ancoppens.com
I am not a developer and could do with help.
Is it possible to have simply the blocks of the coach theme downloaded and for me to add them where I want or do you always have to download the whole theme and override any existing layouts as well as content?
Basically, I do want to follow the structure of the coach theme but add some additional sections and keep the colours and images I have from my existing theme. When I download coach it overrides everything.

currently you would have to install the Site somewhere - but you could install it on a development site or local install, then simply select the blocks an copy / paste them into your other site.
