Hi,
we created some global styles for our headlines. It seems like we need to take the "correct" tag (which was chosen in the global style) and the global style, if we want to get our global style as planned.

Example: We create a global style for h2-headlines, which the "h2"-tag chosen in the global style editor. If we want to get this global style on our pages, we currently need to take this "h2"-tag too.

Are the tags somewhat linked to the global styles (at least for headlines)? Or do they not interfere with one another?

Thanks and cheers!

Hi there,

this is a topic for the GB support forum:

https://generateblocks.com/support/

But to answer - no the H2 element tag is not relevant only the Block is.
So a H2 Global style can be applied to any heading element level ... the thing to note is if the the block has styles applied to it directly within the editor they will also apply - in some cases override the global style. This allows you to mix and match.

thank you

You're welcome
