If so unfortunately that's built manually with GenerateBlocks so it cannot be updated automatically.

You could consider replacing that section with WP Show Posts if you need it to update automatically.

I believe it's because of styling. WPSP will only have the default post look unless you use the Cards module in WPSP pro:
