Hi guys. I'm using GPress 1.4 with GP Premium 1.2.96. When i try to update to the latest version of gp premium my site loads part of the header and the background image and then stops loading the rest.
Any ideas on that?
Hi there,
Can you provide a link to your site when it's updated to GP Premium 1.4.3?
Hi, @leohsiang! Sorry for the delay, but i had to find some time do replicate my production site to show you.
Here you can find out what happens: http://www.tcm.go.gov.br/site-homol/
The production site, working on 1.2.96 version is here: https://www.tcm.go.gov.br/site/
Best,
Thiago.
Can you try #1 here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
The Plugin called Default Featured Image, when deactivated, backs things to work. But i do need the feature of setting a default featured image on posts, when user doesn't do that.
The Page Header add-on runs the images through the_post_thumbnail filter, which accepts a bunch of parameters. GP wasn't added the last two params, which I've added to the next version.
For now, you should actually just be able to turn off warnings and notices: https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors
If you're comfortable with coding, I can tell you which files to adjust instead.
Please, tell me which files to adjust. My site was hacked this morning (code injection on functions.php of GP) and I want to make sure everything is up to date.
If you'd like to contact me, I can send you the latest files: https://generatepress.com/contact
If everything is up to date (latest releases), you're fine from a GP perspective. You could even be using a 2 year old version of GP and wouldn't get hacked because of it. You'll want to check your other plugins and change all of your passwords etc..
Sent. :)
