Unwanted padding front page content

I can't for the life of me figure out why I have huge white borders around my front page header and content. The inner pages don't have it.
Where is this setting?

Select Full Width in the Page Builder Container meta box in the page editor:

I had totally missed the addition of the Layout element in ver 1.7. It's awesome and exactly what I've been needing.
