Unwanted enlarging of images

Hi guys,
I've been adding images inserted between content on my pages, making sure NOT to change the sizes of the images, ticking correct boxes etc so that the original size is being shown.
Unfortunately the site is still enlarging the images to the point where the quality of the images are significantly reduced.
I have locked the website up as it's in maintenance mode and my live site is still running (Do not want google to index any of these pages as yet.
I will however show you an image which explains the issue better.
So the image to the left is the original size and the image to the right is the size the site is showing.

Hard to tell what's going on without seeing the site live.
Any chance you can unlock it or provide the access here?
No one else can see the link to your site so it should be safe :)

I have had problems with google indexing pages that were not ready before and it took months to fix.

Hi guys,
After searching and trying different methods it turns out someone had enlarged the display scaling on my monitor and that's why their were so many issues with the images being bigger (apologies I should have checked all this before posting).
Nothing at all to do with the theme or plugin but thank you very much for your time and replies !
