Unusual disappearance of the logo

Hi guys,

I have a problem that I did not find on the forum.

Often at work, I connect a monitor to a laptop and check how the website behaves on a larger and smaller screen.

And now the same computer and the same browser and two different monitors and on one - external - there is a logo and on the other - from a laptop - there is no logo. If I change the windows, the logo appears on the screen and disappears on the laptop. I did resolution tests and regardless of changes on the laptop, the logo does not appear and it does not disappear on the screen. I also checked it on several browsers, the effect is always the same.

Hi there,

can you share a link to the site so i can take a closer look?

Of course. Here you are.

It's a bit of chaos because I'm rebuilding the page after someone.

Hi there,

This usually occurs on images that have http:// instead of https:// on its url.

Your site actually has one being flagged - https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uWeGAX - although I don't see this on the logo so that seems sorted and shouldn't happen anymore for that image.

To sort this issue out for ALL the images, I suggest using a Better Search and Replace plugin to search and replace all instances of http:// to https:// so you don't get mixed content errors.

I have already tried to fix the problem with Better Search Replace but some pictures still have http instead of https although the plugin shows 0 files to change.

I posted a link with a short video showing the absurdity of the error. When I put a tab between monitors, the logo appears and disappears after refreshing the page.

Can you provide a login for your website so i can take a look. And can you provide access to the google drive video you shared.

Sorry, I was sure I had set up video access.

The next thing to check once you've settled the http:// > https:// issue is to check if the page being served is a cached version of the site from before you've fixed the http:// URLs.

You can try clearing CDN, plugin or server-end cache and see if this still occurs.

Note: I've just checked the site and I don't see the broken image on mobile anymore. Perhaps you've sorted this already and you only need to clear browser cache? Let us know.

From the beginning, it worked flawlessly in the mobile version. The only problem is the laptop display.

I tried to clear the cache with the plugin and still nothing.

For good measure, I'd try reuploading the logos.

Particularly, at least the retina logo as this error is related to it - https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOu99OQW - (missing image file)

This way, their proper paths w/ the https:// should be generated properly.

A very strange situation because, as you can see in the attached picture, I replaced the file on January 24 and it did not work despite clearing the cache. However, today I did it again and now it worked !!!

Thanks for your help, you guys are great.

And I forgot: the topic is solved !!!

Thanks for letting us know. Glad you got it sorted. No problem. :D
