Unscharfe Fotos in der Übersichtsseite vom Shop

Hi there,

i checked one of your images eg.

And that is how the image is uploaded - but i notice it is a webp image. Maybe the plugin that is converting it to webp i affecting its quality ?

Hallo ich habe nun ein jpg Bild hochgeladen und es ist nur auf der Übersichtsseite unscharf. Bei allen anderen Bereichen ist es scharf. Gibt es noch eine Idee dazu?

Nachtrag: und auch irgendwie nur auf dem Desktop. Handy ist ok würde ich sagen...

The images are being converted to webP - i would suggest you disable that to first see if it is interfering with the image quality. If it makes no difference then we can look at other options

Hallo David, ich habe selbst alle Bilder im Original erstellt und in WebP exportiert. Nun habe ich ein Foto wie in der letzten Nachricht in .jpg hochgeladen mit gleicher Pixel Anzahl. Dennoch ist das Foto unscharf. Und nur auf der Übersichtsseite auf dem Desktop. Also .jpg ist auch unscharf. Auf meiner Original Seite die Online ist http://www.mapure-cosmetics.de ist dieses mit einem anderen Theme scharf.

Ich freue mich wenn du noch eine andere Idee hast.

GP doesn't do anything with image size or quality especially if its woocommerce.

But there are some factors, for example WordPress by default will use lossy compression on all image uploads.
You can stop it from doing so by adding this PHP Snippet:

add_filter('jpeg_quality', function($arg){return 100;});

However, i am not sure what it does if you manually upload a webP image, thats not something i have done.

Oh kannst du mir bitte eine Info geben wo genau ich den Filter einsetze? Ich möchte da nichts falsch.
Und ich habe alle Bilder auch mit . jpg die kann ich austauschen
