Hi there,

are you using any SEO or other plugins or functions that are changing the Title tag?
By default GP doesn't return Page X of X in the archive titles, and you're site has Open Graph tags that also include the Malay translated title tag. What is adding those ?

Hi,

I am using Yoast SEO Plugin and a Multilang Plugin which is configured in Hindi Language.
I noticed only malay language in showing in Twitter Card only which I removed for double check. But looks like still I am not able to figure out what's causing of title change in malay language (Indonasian).

Hi there,

The theme doesn't have the ability to do this so I doubt it's a GP issue.

Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?

Let me know :)

How do i disable all plugins for a specific page for testing purpose ?

Check in the Yoast SEO > Search Appearance settings for the SEO Title.

You can see the list of variables here:

https://yoast.com/help/list-available-snippet-variables-yoast-seo/

In that doc it shows: Page number is the variable it uses for:

Replaced with the current page number with context (i.e. page 2 of 4)

Remove that, and if the page numbering is removed from the Title template, then you know its coming from Yoast and you will need to speak to their support on how to resolve the translation issue.

Hi Rohit,

It would be best to wait for their response with regards to the issue as this is out of our scope.

Hope this clarifies!

they already clarified that yoast did not change it.

I am not sure if that Yoast support person understands your issue.
But i found this on their GitHub issues:

https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8552

Which is related to the Yoast Translation on WordPress - so i checked out their translation files and i found your issue:

https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wordpress-seo/stable/hi/default/?filters%5Bterm%5D=Page+%251%24d+of+%252%24d&filters%5Bterm_scope%5D=scope_any&filters%5Bstatus%5D=current_or_waiting_or_fuzzy_or_untranslated&filters%5Buser_login%5D=&filter=Apply+Filters&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc

You may want to consider doing some translation for them. Theres a link on the top of that page that explains how to.

I updated the above with the correct URL for the 'incorrect' translation.

Yoast corrected the issue with an update and Language issue is also fixed on my site.
Thank you for your incredible support that made yoast to fix it.
I think you should be rewarded by Yoast to find out the bug :)
