Do I need to change anything? For now I am using the CSS customizer but I don’t want to blat my html with alot of inline css. Let me know π September 7, 2020 at 9:19 pm #1434707 Deepak dummy me π Didn’t realise after updating the theme to 3.0, the child theme got de-activated. Thanks Deepak September 7, 2020 at 9:29 pm #1434710 Deepak Ok, I realised the problem As soon as I make any change in Custom CSS and Publish The active theme changes from Child theme to generatepress on its own. I don’t think that’s correct? Here I have created a short video of this change: View post on imgur.com September 7, 2020 at 9:41 pm #1434713 TomLead Developer Lead Developer Strange, what happens if you refresh the Customizer after you change to the child theme? Looks like the Customizer was loaded when the parent theme was active and saved when the child theme was active. September 7, 2020 at 9:50 pm #1434717 Deepak After refresh yes the changes are intact. π But I will continue to test some more and update here if any issues related to child theme.
