Unable to make the column align using "Lightweight Grid Columns" plugin

Hi Tom,

I am using the “Lightweight Grid Columns” plugin but I failed to do the same 3×3 column and row that I see in the https://generatepress.com/ home page.

May I know I you did that nice grid alignment.

I wanted to do a single row, 3 column.

I could have do it in the footer widget, but I want the footer widget for other content.

Any idea why they are not aligning?

Hi there,

It’s a little sensitive right now, the next update makes it work much better.

For now, make sure each column is separated by an empty space, like the example here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightweight-grid-columns/faq/

I have tried many ways to put in a space, still cannot.
I probably still don’t understand what you mean when you said “space”.

When you go into in the “Text” tab of your editor, you should see one empty line between each shortcode block, like in the example on the FAQ page.

I have an update almost ready for that plugin, it’s just been delayed because of holidays.

The new version isn’t so picky, but the current version does work as long as the shortcodes are spread out correctly. It’s a WP editor thing trying to add paragraphs to everything.

Hi Tom,

I try adding in the space, it works.
But when I save the next time, my space was automatically removed by wordpress,
and the alignment problem happens again.

May I know if you have a solution for this?

The new version fixes this, just not 100% happy with releasing the update yet.
