[Support request] unable to import site library

Hiii,

I have over 2000 posts on my site but I am unable to use any template without importing demo content. How can I use site library without importing any Demo content?

Hi there,

We won’t encourage importing site library templates on a non-freshly installed site.
There might be some CSS conflicts which lead to layout issues.

It’s not possible to have the template without importing content, as GP elements are also part of the content, without importing them the site will look very different.

Hi, I have imported INFO site library. Now I want remove category and next-previous post option from single post. Also I need to remove comment box. There are more than 2000 posts on my site, therefore it is very lengthy to disallow comments one by one from discussion option. I have attached the image. Please help me in this.

Now I want remove category and next-previous post option from single post.

1. Go to appearance > GeneratePress, and enable the Blog module.
2. Go to customizer > layout > blog > content > single, uncheck theDisplay post categories & Display post navigationbox.

Also I need to remove comment box.

The info template doesn’t have a comment section.

Allow/disallow comments is not a theme option, it’s a WP option. You can disable comment at settings > discussion. But the setting in each post will override the general setting.

For the comment, it’s not controlled by the theme as I replied previously, however, I found you this article:
