Unable to edit footer on 'Shop' from site library

Hi - please may you help?

I'm not able to edit the footer in the 'Shop' demo from the site library - this is the area underneath "Join our monthly Newsletter". Other elements work fine and I installed a different theme from the library to test which worked.

Here's what I've tried after deleting old content, disabling plugins etc.
1. Changed Shop theme to standard WP theme and unable to edit footer area in this theme either
2. Inspected widgets element in console - no error
3. Inspected home page and was able to edit address details of footer in inspector
4. Removed 'Shop' and downloaded 'Merch' from the site library - this works perfectly and I can edit it without any problem.

It's probably something really simple that I'm doing/not doing.
