Unable to disable sidebar for the entire website

Hi
I am trying to disable the post sidebar for the entire site but despite applying changes it is still visible. Tried disabling it using GP Elements and later via customizing layout option but nothing seems to work for me. Can you please help with this?
regards
Hi there,
Are you trying to disable the sidebar on single posts?
If so can you try the customizer option first?

Let me know :)
Hello Leo
Tried the customize option but the changes won't reflect (cleared cache too)

Hi there,
can you edit the post and check the Layout Metabox - have the sidebars been manually set there?
Hello David
I have set it manually for each post. Does that mean I have to turn it off post by post for changes to take effect?
Yeah - the settings on each Post will override a Layout Element and the Customizer settings.
Ohh. I see. Will do it manually then. Was hoping for a code that can help me shorten up the time
Unfortunately there isn't a simple code to do that.
Thanks for the quick response. Closing the ticket.
You're welcome
