Unable to delete widget, Avery child theme

I’m trying to delete the Top Bar widget in Avery child theme. I go into Appearance/Widgets and in the List View it shows all widgets as locked. How can I unlock and delete the widget?
Answered my own question. Once I remove the content from the Top Bar, in this case a menu and social media icons, the Top Bar doesn’t show up.
