Apologies if this is already out there somewhere.

I’ve already got 2 addons on my site, with settings set just right, and have bought the GP premium bundle. Can I update and keep the settings in those addons, or will it all reset? Anything else I need to look out for? do I need to uninstall the separate addons first?

Your settings will remain, but you should deactivate your individuals add-ons before activating GP Premium.

Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

I also just purchased the GP premium and I have the Lite installed now, but am not sure how to get the Premium installed. Is there a feature to put in the code I received in the email from GP, within Lite somewhere? I have downloaded the zip file, but when I tried to upload to my site, I get this error:
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Destination folder already exists. /home1/computz5/public_html/newpros/wp-content/themes/generatepress/

    Theme install failed.

    Thank you for the help.
    Merry Christmas!

    Hi Todd,

GP Premium is a plugin, so you can install it while keeping the lite version activated.

    More info here: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/install-activate-addons/

Let me know if you need more info 🙂

    Merry Christmas!
