    Hi,

I’m trying to redesign my site (Istanbul Insider) with Generate Press and wanted to implement Ubermenu as my mega menu.

I also installed the child theme, as explained here.

However, the implementation of Ubermenu somehow made my site title or logo disappear.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi there,

I have not used that plugin so can’t really advise too much, what i know is that UberMenu replaces the themes navigation. So you would need to add the logo in the UberMenu, i found this doc here that tells how:

    Hi David,

Thanks a lot. I will have a look at that.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Since you haven’t used Ubermenu yet and because it takes over the entire navigation section (and deletes my logo/title), does Max Mega Menu integrates better with GeneratePress according to your experience?

    Kind regards,
    Erlend

    Hi Erlend,

Unfortunately we haven’t tested either of those plugins.

I do recall seeing GP users using both Max mega menu and Ubermenu though so I would recommend trying both and see which one works for you the best.

GP should work well with all plugins that are well-coded and built to work with WordPress themes. Choosing a plugin is more about personal preferences 🙂

I experimented a bit more and thanks to the link of David I managed to get the logo working too, so I’ll stick with Ubermenu for now. A bit more intuitive than Max Mega Menu I must say, and great tutorials.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I’ll close this thread.
