Typographie - strange strong-tag added

Hi there,

recently updated to WP 4.9.4 and after the update a strange thing happend to the front page of my blog (showing the last eight posts): https://www.kuriose-feiertage.de/

From the 5th post down to the footer area (incl. the widgets + copyright) there's a strong-tag added to all the fonts (p, headings). This only occurs on the frontpage and not on the single posts/pages.

Any idea, where this comes from and how to fix it?

Hi Sven,

This is likely due to that there is a opening <strong> tag without a closing </strong>.

Can you double check your HTML starting at where it went wrong?

problem solved. :) There was indeed an unclosed strong-tag within one of the excerpts.
