Hello!
In a future project the client wants a section of the website to appear differently and have a different main menu. Similar to these examples:
- https://www.waschbaer.de/shop/ >> https://www.waschbaer.de/magazin/
- https://www.wwf.at/ >> https://www.wwf.at/teampanda/

Is this doable in GeneratePress? I know it is possible in Avada, but this would be my 4th project with GeneratePress and I don't really want to switch back to Avada, because I like GeneratePress very much.

In another support topic I found you mentioned the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-swapper/
For a similar case like this. But it doesn't seem to be updated anymore...

Thank you ,
Angie.

Hi Angie,

This should be possible but will require a bit of knowledge in hooks and plugins for the specific sections like carousel post lists.

The different menus can be done with having Primary Navigation and Secondary Navigation enabled PLUS custom menu plugins hooked to specific parts of the page if you need a 3rd menu or more.

Lots of things are possible w/ GP. TBH, if you're familiar w/ the hook locations, you basically just hook things in from your plugins using either a Hook element or a Block element.

See hook visual guide here - https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-visual-guide/
Note: this is a bit incomplete as it only lists the most used ones. If the hooks shown here don't fit what you need, you can consult with us on the specifics and we'll try to figure it out together w/ the rest of the unspecified hooks. :D

Thank you! I will look into this.
Do you have specific custom menu plugins in mind you can recommend?
thank you, Angie.

This worked very good and simple with the suggested plugin "Conditional Menus".
Thanks for the tip!

Glad to be of help!
