[Resolved] Tutorials wanted for complete newbie

I’ve installed generate press and generate blocks but my knowledge is restricted to HTML. I know nothing about generating blocks, and my experience with Generate Press is in creating websites without using blocks. It is time that I learned to use elements and blocks, from the beginning. How can I learn?
I’m deaf so videos need to have the CC option.

Hi Ian,

I would recommend start by Googling or YouTubing “WordPress Gutenberg tutorials” to learn the basics.

Then you can take a look at some of our YouTube videos (only auto caption available):

Unfortunately, videos are very time-consuming to create and update so some of them are not using the recent version.

Another good way to learn is to import a couple of site library templates so you can go through the pages and see how they are built:

Thanks for your helpful reply Leo.

I didn’t even know that your block system is based on the Gutenberg block system.

Following your suggestions, I found an article that is just what I want to begin. As I am deaf, an article is very much more useful than a video.

I can see that your links to learning your block system will be very useful once I’ve learned the Gutenberg system.
