I love the theme but not the ‘responsive’ features. Can I turn them off?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperSure can 🙂
Installing and activating this plugin will disable the mobile features of GeneratePress.

Save the .zip, and upload it to “Plugins > Add New > Upload”.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperJust a note that the Generate Disable Mobile plugin should be replaced with this one moving forward: https://wordpress.org/plugins/generate-disable-mobile/

Hi Tom,
I am happy with the responsive effect on full mobile, and on full desktop it is fine, but in between I am getting some problems.
The 4 footer widgets aren’t lining up nicely part way between desktop and mobile. Instead of being a grid of 2×2 widgets, I am getting 2 widgets on the top line, 1 widget on the right in the middle line, and 1 widget on the left on the bottom line.
I am wondering if there is a way to fix this, or is there a way to disable responsive except when the screen size gets to mobile size? ie. unresponsive until then? Thanks Tom

Tom
Sorry to drag up an old post. For reasons that can be best be described as “dull”, i have a client that does not want her site to be responsive. I note that the plugin mentioned above has been tested or developed for a little while. I am happy to test it on recent install but I wanted to check in case it had been superseded by something else? Many thanks

Thanks Leo – Plugin works but I have used Elementor to build the site rapidly and that want is wanting to adjust. Was hoping for an easy win but getting too complicated so filing it under #FixWhenHaveTheTime
Cheers though.
