[Resolved] Turn off featured image when using GP with WordPress plugin AWP Classifieds

Is there a way to turn off the featured image function in GP? I just installed the wordpress plugin for adding classified ads and when I am testing new posts, I can only get rid of the featured image if I go back in and edit the ad and click “remove featured image”.

Not that big of a deal as it only takes about 30 seconds, but is there a way to just turn off featured images?

Have you tried uncheck the Display featured images box in Customizer > Layout > Blog?
