[Resolved] turn off comments in generatepress theme

Hi

I can’t seem to turn off the “leave comments” box in generatepress. I’ve gone into settings>discussion and unchecked “allow people to post comments on new articles” but that doesnt seem to remove the comment box.

any suggestions on fixing this would be most welcome.

Hi there,

The changes you made in Settings > Discussion will only work for new posts that are created after the changes.

To make changes to existing articles, go to the list of posts/pages, hover over the title to click Quick Edit then uncheck Allow Comments in there.
