We are using GP 3.2.4 and Premium 2.2.1

We would like to use this font:
    https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Ms+Madi

I cannot figure out how to use it and it does not show up under Google Fonts in the Typography section of the Customizer.

I started by trying to follow the steps in this document:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-typography-overview/

That did not seem to work. I also tried following the steps in this document to try and add it locally:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/

Regardless of what I try nothing seems to work.

Keeping in mind that I have already tried several things above, what are specific steps I must follow to use the above referenced font (or any specific font) for H4 headings?

I will say that I found the old typography system much easier to understand and use. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi there,

    1. Customizer > Typography –> Add Font.
1.1 in the FONT FAMILY NAME filed add your font name eg. Ms Madi

    2. Toogle the Use Google Fonts API toggle

This will load the font from Google

If you have already installed the font locally, then DO NOT do point 2.

Before I submitted this ticket I tried
    1. Customizer > Typography –> Add Font.
1.1 in the FONT FAMILY NAME filed add your font name eg. Ms Madi
    2. Toogle the Use Google Fonts API toggle

I was not able to see Ms Madi as being available to use anywhere.

I then downloaded and installed the fonts locally, removed the 1st attempt, and went through just step number one above. Again, I could not see anywhere that Ms Madi was available to use.

I “removed” all fonts and started over and it seems to work now. Very confusing since I followed the same steps the 1st time. Oh well.

    Thank You for your help!
