[Resolved] Trying to update Generate Press

Hi there

This is the error I am getting updating GP. My WP version is the latest 5.3.2 and the existing GP version is an older 1.6.2

Update Failed: Could not copy file. gp-premium/library/customizer/controls/class-alpha-color-control.php

WP runs on Windows IIS which is an internal Intranet server (not a public web server)

Do you have any pointers where I may be able to look to resolve the GP update install issue?

Hi there,

1.6.2 is quite old for sure.

Can you try manually updating and see if that works?

I find it works the best when updating it from an old version.
