Error when updating to GP Premium 1.2.94?

I got an "Update failed...unauthorized" message. So I followed the instructions to...
- Delete then save ('Update') the license key
- Re-enter and re-save ('Update') the license key
- Try updating again

Now when I try to update I get this failure message instead:

Update Failed: Could not create directory. gp-premium/backgrounds/functions/js

Thanks Tom. Neither of those factors apply to me: Not running on localhost, and server is Windows.

I'm not having issues with updating other plugins. What's the next step?

If the server is Windows, then that's the bug between Windows, WordPress and long update URLs.
