Tried changing themes and it destroyed my site

I tried installing a new premium Theme from GeneratePress. It immediately broke my site and everything is down so I need the host to bring it back. What's going on?

Tough to tell without seeing the site and the issue.
If you have an existing site with traffic, then I'd recommend starting a staging site for the theme switch process so we can compare and identify the issue.
That way users will still be able to visit your existing site and give you the time to complete the switch and push it live.
