Hi, I am trying to find a way of having a transparent main navigation, so that it can integrate with the hero image. I watched videos and read tutorials about this, but they are all based on a previous version of Generatepress, and they don´t apply to what I am seeing now with the new version.
I am using Elementor to build the website, but I am using Generatepress for the main navigation. In the videos I watched, they were talking about creating a transparent page header, but I still don´t understand if I should be working on the “main navigation” options, or if I should create a page header… And I don´t get how to integrate it with the hero image anyway.
Could you please let me know?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
the latest version of GP will use the Header Element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
This article specifically covers the transparent header/navigation:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/transparent-header-and-navigation/
If the Header Element hero content is left empty then the header will merge with the first section of your content

Hi,
I am having a problem with this. As I mentioned in my last message, this was working great (transparent menu, merging with the content) but for some reason it stopped working (I haven´t touch anything or made any changes).
Now the main navigation is not transparent or merging with the content any more….
Could you please help me?

StaffCustomer SupportI can’t see the Header Element on that page – can you check it still exists and is assigned to the relevant pages?

Hi David, thanks for your reply.
I don´t fully understand what you mean, sorry.
The merged navigation should be displayed on this page for example: https://secretweaponleader.webdesign-project.com/home-v3This is the setting I have: Appearance > Elements> Type: header > Site Header (navigation location: Above Header > Display Rules: Location=All pages (although I did exclude some, but not the one I mentioned above)

StaffCustomer SupportCan you check the exclude rules isn’t removing it?
I also notice you’re using a ‘proofing’ plugin – not sure if thats conflicting. -
