Transparent header-navigation with Visual Composer - does not work !?

Hello,
i want to use Visual Composer and Generatepress, but it is not possible to create a transparent navigation with a visual composer page, or am i wrong.
I can only create a header with elements, and set on "merge".
greetings
Hi there,
you can use the Header Element without any content, and then set the Site Header to merge, your page content will then move under the site header.
Hi there,
I am trying to use Visual Composer for the first time (was a long time WP Bakery Page Builder user). I am committed to GP and GP Premium. Love everything about it. I did some research ahead of time, and one of you folks said, yes it is compatible... That being said, I am having same issue as the original poster. I have set all the options and the header is not merging with the content on the "front page." I have successfully done this before. All my plugins | Wordpress | and GP theme/Premium is updated.
Never mind! While I never had to set options for the padding for the containers to make this feature work previously, setting
Layout> Container> Content Layout to One Container and Content Padding Top to 0 seemed to solve the issue and made it work.
Let me know if this is the most elegant solution, nonetheless. Thank you.
This setting is usually a good idea when a page builder is used:
