Transparent header

Hi guys, I had figured it out before, but now seem totally lost. I’m trying to achieve 2 things: 1) transparent header on desktop and mobile – ie, no top bar, header, or white space etc. And mobile menu toggle on desktop situated at right. I’ve searched and tried but can’t get back to this point without white bar/header space on top of desktop and mobile. Mobile is just a mess of widgets or menus/titles. How do I remove again so it’s clean as described above?

Thanks!

Hi there,

the issue you have is the 120px top padding on the Customizer > Layout > Container.
Setting the top padding to 0 will give you the desired result.

But ideally you want to set the Content Container to Full Width when creating that kind of layout.
This not only gives you a Full Width page, so no need to use the forced Full Width option on your blocks, but it also strips out the Themes padding.

Ok, awesome. thanks. That worked! But I do not see however the content container ability to set to full-width as provided in link above. I think it's been removed in latest version.

Also, follow-up question: I want the menu toggle on desktop to run flush with the far right of the screen, and not have a margin or padding between screen's edge and where it is located (as it currently is doing). Want it to behave more like mobile in this way right to edge.

Thanks for help in advance!

You can find the layout meta box in page editor:

For your second question, go to customizer > layout > primary navigation, set inner navigation width to fullinstead of contained.

Let me know if this helps :)

Thank you GenPress support team! Both of those fixes worked great, I just couldn't see the little detailed changes that needed to be made. I appreciate it!
