I recently switched to generatepress in combination with beaver builder.
Now I want more or less my old look and feel back.
That was included with an image stretched all over the background:
    See the screenshot:

I tried with some custom .body css, but not yet figured it out.

    Hi there,

have you tried a Header Element:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/

Yes, but that shifts the entire content (i’ve created with beaverbuilder) all the way down -below- the image, in stead of (transparant) -over- the image.

    I would do this:

    1. in the post editor set the Page Builder Container to Full Width:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/

Now your BB sections can span fullwidth.

    2. Now create all of the content in BB and add the background image to the BB Row.

    3. Delete your current Header Element, and create a new one – and go straight to the Site Header tab and enable the Merge with Content and edit the Navigation colors. This way the logo / nav will sit over your BB created content.

Thank you so much. This helped me a lot.
I only forgot the header padding. When that was set everything was fine.
Hope others find this thread useful as well in the future
