Translations not working

Hi,
MY website is in English. I installed WPML on the website and activated French and Portuguese.
The main plugins I am using are Learndash and MembershipsPro.
when I switch from a language to another, nothing is translated, but the menus I created in these two languages.
For example "follow us" "Contact us" etc. are not translated.
The po/mo files of the plugins are where they are suppose to be, but none of the translations are working.
Can you tell me what to do?

Have you checked with WPML support? They would know better than me likely.
