    Hi!
I would absolutely have to translate text passages from a WooCommerce adaptation (Merch).
I have searched and searched and searched …. but I can’t find the strings/text. (See screenshot)
    Can you help me?
    Many greetings,
    Volker

    Hi there,

Your screenshot doesn’t seem to be working.

Everything in GP Premium should be translatable here: https://translate.generatepress.com

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Tom,

the link i provided separately should work. I attached the file on the notify-email (wordpress@generatepress.com) too, hope this works.
The text in question is not part of GPP.
B.t.w: i have translated every string in the german translation at https://translate.generatepress.com, but you still provide the old language files within the plugin. That’s why a lot of stuff is still without translation. (650 strings on translate.generatepress.com, 542 in the plugin’s .po file)

That text is in GPP now.

Have you tried updating the language files per the instructions here?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/uploading-translations/#gp-premium-plugin

We need to figure out a way to serve translations without adding them to the plugin (due to file size issues).

Yes, i updated both (on translate.generatepress.com + directly in the langs-folder) with no effort. But now it’s okay, thank you.

It is usually sufficient to translate only those terms that are visible in the frontend, e.g. “Read on”, “Search”, etc. This could be done in the customiser.
    Just an idea.
