Transition from Bold Builder to Generate Blocks

I have an old website, built on a theme that is using Bold Builder. I would like to update it and put one of the Generate Press premium themes on.
The problem is that once I install the Generate Press theme and disable the bold builder, all content now appears as a block of code. Not a single styling element remains. The transition between bold builder and generate blocks seems to be so rough that it will just be weeks of copying and pasting to fix the mess.
Is there a more elegant transition that I'm missing here?
Hi there,
switching off a page builder plugin always results in either a lot of unstyled content in the best case scenario, or worst still a lot of proprietary HTML code without any frontend styles. It matters not which theme or alternate plugins you want to switch too.
As much as i hate to say it, the only way to switch is to rebuild from scratch with copy and paste where you can.
